Penn Study Finds Increase In Cancer Detection and Reduction Of Call-back Rates On Using 3D Mammography

A large screening study found that compared to traditional mammography, 3D mammography-known as digital breast tomosynthesis-found 22 percent more breast cancers and led to fewer call backs.
