Study Confirms Use of Metoprolol Beneficial in Heart Attack Patients

A new study has confirmed that treating heart attack patients with a drug called metoprolol leads to smaller amounts of dead heart muscle, with the number of patients with a severely deteriorated heart contractile function in the group found to be 60 percent lower than the control group.
