Hospital Admissions for the Most Severe Form of Heart Attacks Has Quadrupled in China Over the Last Decade

A new study published in The Lancet reveals that the number of hospital admissions in China due to ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), which is the most serious type of heart attack, has more than quadrupled between 2001 and 2011.
