Low Levels of Testosterone Linked With Functional Disability in Elderly Men

Results of a new study presented at ICE/ENDO 2014, the joint meeting of the International Society of Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society reveal that the risk of decline in physical function over the next two years is two times more among elderly men who have low levels of testosterone or other sex hormones compared to their peers with highest hormone levels.
