Guiding Human Face Transplants With 3-D Printing Used by Researchers

Computed tomography (CT) and 3-D printing technology are being used by researchers to recreate life-size models of patients' heads to assist in face transplantation surgery, says a study presented today at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
