A 30-year-old labourer was declared brain dead after he met with an accident and his heart was transplanted to a lady in Hyderabad. A recipient matched with the labourer's heart and was decided that it will be airlifted to save the woman's life in Hyderabad. The live heart was transported in short span of 2 minutes 45 seconds in Yashoda hospital at Secunderabad. The effective coordination between the doctors and the traffic authorities made the transplant possible. ...
