Normani is making “Waves” in the video for her debut single featuring 6lack.
Directed by Emil Nava, the clip finds the former Fifth Harmony songstress showcasing her choreography while dancing on the sandy surface of an otherworldly landscape, solidifying herself as Pop music’s next big artist.
Normani is currently working on her debut solo album, due for release later this year, and, though nothing has been confirmed, it’s being speculated that “Waves” is the first single from the project.
“Waves” follows “Love Lies” (w/ Khalid) and “Dancing With a Stranger” (w/ Sam Smith) as Normani’s third post-Fifth Harmony single.
