Warren Verboom loves to jump from high places, and being a canyoneering athlete, the opportunities to jump are many.
But the type of jumping Verboom enjoys most requires remarkable precision, and the accompanying footage serves as evidence that Verboom might be taking his passion for jumping from high places a bit too seriously. (These types of stunts, clearly, are for experts only.)
Most Mind-Blowing Backflip Ever by OutsideTelevision
Verboom’s double-backflip from a canyon ledge into a narrow pool, referred to as a blind-precision jump, left no room for the slightest error, and was referred to recently by Outside Television as the “most mind-blowing backflip ever.”
The footage, captured at an unnamed location, has been circulating on the Internet for the past month.
Verboom, 32, a Swiss member of the Deap Canyoneering team, states on his bio: “I’ve always loved to jump off or over something. Unfortunately, I don’t have a cliff-diving or artistic gymnastics background, which definitely would help a lot.”
His goal, he adds, is to take extreme canyoneering to a new level, and he appears to have succeeded most resoundingly.
