Games on parade: Amazing indie games at PAX Australia

We saw a few games on the indie floor that we loved last year. They're absolutely still worth checking out. You can also see last year's full PAX Australia indie round up here.

Armello, a fairy-tale inspired game that integrates turn-based board-game style strategy, card-based elements and an absolutely breathtaking world. Out now on PC.

Bearzerkers, a multiplayer game for up to four players where you have to outrun the rabid bear. Out now on PC.

Swordy, a gloriously chaotic multiplayer physics-based brawler for PC. Still under development.

Screencheat, a multiplayer game in which everyone is invisible and you have to "screencheat" (that is, watch other players' screens) to win. Out now for PC, coming soon to consoles.

Assault Android Cactus, a manic multiplayer twin-stick shooter. Out now for PC.

Crawl, a multiplayer dungeon crawler in which three of your friends play the monsters to your hero. Out now for PC, Mac and Linux.

Defect SDK, a space trading and fighting simulator in which the ship you build will always be a ship you eventually have to fight when your crew mutinies. Downloadable demo available via Steam.

Framed, a puzzle game where you have to rearrange the order of events to continue the story. Out now on iOS and Android.
