Grammys 2014: Robin Thicke Teams Up with Chicago for a Subdued “Blurred Lines” Performance

After his last award show duet generated headlines around the world, you can forgive Robin Thicke for keeping a low profile and opting for a PG duet with ’70s rock band Chicago.

They played some of the rock group’s classics but the “hold-your-breath” moment was when the whole crew dived headfirst into Thicke’s song of the summer, “Blurred Lines.” Instead of a tongue-out, twerking Miley Cyrus, we got a jazzified, Vegas lounge version of the song. This is a version of “Blurred Lines” that your can grandma can get jiggy to.

Perhaps that’s why T.I. and Pharrell weren’t invited to contribute their parts like they normally do.
