5,000 Illegal Clinics Closed in China

In a crackdown on illicit medical practices, China has shut down 5,088 illegal clinics within a span of three months, health authorities said. According to a National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) statement, a year-long campaign was started in October, targeting unlicensed clinics and unqualified doctors.
