'Ring' may Help Prevent HIV and Pregnancy

Clinical trials will now be starting on a new vaginal ring that is expected to provide month's of protection against pregnancy, herpes and HIV. The device, which is similar to birth control rings already on the market, delivers both an antiretroviral drug and a contraceptive which are slowly released over 90 days.
