When you play the "Game of Thrones," you win or you die. That saying has emerged as the de facto mantra for both the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series by George R.R. Martin and the HBO adaptation "Game of Thrones."
Soon, you'll be able to live out that mantra for yourself via an upcoming video game by Telltale Games, the developer behind the widely popular "Walking Dead" games for PC, consoles and mobile platforms. Telltale's series, called "Iron From Ice" will likely center around House Forrester, a minor, little-known Northern house that's sworn to House Glover, which aligns itself with House Stark of Winterfell.
And thanks to a tweet from Laura Perusco, Telltale's community and PR specialist , we now know that the first episode of "Iron from Ice" is still on target for a 2014 release. While it's not a firm release date, it gives us hope that we'll be able to play at least a few episodes of the game before the next season of "Game of Thrones" hits the HBO airwaves, which should happen around April 2015.
@RatedR2012 No specific release date announced yet, but I can confirm that the season IS premiering later this year. :)

So, brace yourselves, because winter is coming, and so is "Iron From Ice." If it's anything like Telltale's "Walking Dead" series, we can assure you that you won't be able to put your controller/mouse/tablet/smartphone down.
