Most of us travel for the adventure—for the faraway places where we can play outdoors and meet new people and enjoy new experiences.
With exotic places on our bucket list like Ecuador for surfing, Alaska for skiing, and Iceland for everything outdoorsy, sometimes it’s easy to forget that there is adventure awaiting us right outside our door.
Thankfully, German filmmaker Sebastian Linda reminded us of this fact with his recent video “Travel Where you Live.” In it, he explores the wonders of the “staycation” through Saxony, Germany—his backyard. Watch and be inspired.
