The highly anticipated massively multiplayer online shooter Star Wars Battlefront hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PCs on Tuesday, letting Star Wars fans immerse themselves in all-out warfare in a galaxy far, far away. One of those fans, CNET's Anthony Domanico, spent two days playing the Electronic Arts game on both PS4 and PC, and shares his impressions and favorite moments so far.
This splash screen shows up when you first launch the MMO and really gives a sense of the kind of chaos and destruction that greets you in the digital Star Wars universe.
In the game, death comes from above (in the form of X-wings, TIE Fighters, AT-ATs, AT-STs and more), and below (proximity mines, thermal detonators and more), and in front and behind as I try to survive the onslaught of Stormtroopers and Rebel fighters looking to win the war for their side.
