Spring Break Ideas: Horseshoe Bend

It may be cold outside in most parts of the country, but spring is actually just around the corner—so it’s a good time to start planning for a spring trip.

One such trip could include an outing to Horseshoe Bend, a unique geological feature just outside of Page, Arizona. The landmark was created over millions of years as the Colorado River carved a 270-degree, horseshoe-shaped turn into sandstone.

Check out our gallery of the breathtaking spot above.

Once you’ve finished soaking in Horseshoe Bend, consider checking out Antelope Canyon and the Wave, two other iconic geological landmarks that are relatively close by.
